Waterlevel is keen to maximise the biodiversity and bioabundance associated with its operational assets. Stewardship of its utility operations has allowed the sensitive maintenance and creation of several acres of woodland, calcareous grassland and wet meadowland. Dozens of restricted species have made a home on our land or use it for feeding, shelter or breeding.

Jessica Knaggs is a water quality Compliance Assistant at Waterlevel. Also studying for her MRes Environmental Geoscience degree at Newcastle University, Jess is passionate about developing sustainable lifestyle choices. A young environmentalist and alumna of the National Citizen Service, Raleigh International and Duke of Edinburgh Gold she is keen to get young people more involved
Adrian Court
Adrian Court joined the board as non-exec director in July 2017 after advising the process of structuring the Albion Water JV and its subsequent sale. His experience in supporting innovation is deployed to identify opportunities for Waterlevel to support emerging technologies that promise to improve the environmental performance of the industry.
Paul M Tate
Paul M Tate – a chartered accountant with over 40 years business experience joined the team in 2012, taking over responsibility for the finance and IT functions, later adding customer service and billing to his roles, including being the lead on non-household market opening.
David Knaggs
David Knaggs – David is a water industry executive with 30 years’ experience within the public and private sectors. He was responsible for establishing Albion Water’s service provision for domestic customers, running a research program and restructuring Albion’s operations in England and Wales. David is focused on maintaining regulatory compliance and, through Waterlevel, delivering wider environmental
Dr Jerry Bryan
Jerry Bryan – Principal Shareholder and Founder Director of Waterlevel and its precursors. As Chairman Jerry brings over 40 years’ experience in the water industry during which he has earned the respect and reputation as a champion of market reform and innovation and continues to drive the business to set new standards in resilience and sustainability.
